Image Comics has confirmed that the July 2nd Image Expo, a comic convention focused solely on Image Comics, will return to the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.  This one day event, running from 9;00am to 6:00pm, will have one of the most star-studded guest list of comic creators in the business.  This includes Robert Kirkman (THE WALKING DEAD, OUTCAST BY KIRKMAN & AZACETA), Brian K. Vaughan (SAGA, WE STAND ON GUARD), Steve Skroce (WE STAND ON GUARD), Tula Lotay (SUPREME: BLUE ROSE), and Greg Rucka (LAZARUS).  Last year there were major announcements, including new series such as Savior from Todd McFarlane, Revengeance from Darwyn Cook, Paper Girls and We Stand United from Brian K Vaughn, and I Hate Fairyland from Scottie Young, among many other series from major creators like Scott Snyder and Brian Wood.  This announcement list was one of the defining line-ups for the future of independent comics, and has created a “must buy” list for most fans.

Until the end of May they will be selling the early bird general admission tickets for $20, with Premium enty being $50.  This Premium entry includes extras like guaranteed premium seating for many of the popular programs, a pack of all the variant covers that are exclusive to Image Expo 2015, a pass to an exclusive signing with one of the variant cover creators, a t-shirt for the event, a tote bag, and entry to the after party.  If you want to get these tickets, do it before June 1st when the tickets jump in price!
