A-Force has been one of the most talked about new series from Marvel, mainly because it gave us an insight into the All-New, All-Different Marvel line-up that will be coming. The first issue was released a while back, but now we are finding out that a new #1 will be released just a few months afterward. What this says is that the original A-Force release simply was just a Battleworld/Secret Wars tie-in rather than the launch of a full new series. With this new female-led book we are getting up and coming Ms. Marvel writer G. Willow Wilson, who will really give this a fresh and relatable feel.
Reports now list that the run of A-Force will maintain a similar team line-up including Dazzler, Captain Marvel, Medusa, She-Hulk, and Nico Minoru being ported over. The new character will be Singularity. This is still an exciting turn for Marvel as they attempt to provide more gender parity and to invite female readers into the fold. By using a major new talent like Wilson it looks like they are really going to take this project seriously and it should be a major part of the new Marvel universe.
