Yes, San Diego Comic Con is where Hollywood goes to get their major comic announcements on.  Amidst the superstar creators and massive celebrity panels, you are even going to find a few comics.  Mainly, you will find a lot of ‘comic-related’ properties and franchises, and few have done more for indie comic sales that The Walking Dead.  The huge success for AMC, based on the comic by Robert Kirkman, is heading into its sixth season this coming fall.  This has been one of the most popular, and controversial, shows in cable history, and the new season looks to be just as shocking.  Not to mention that the show is intersecting more and more with the acclaimed comic book.
