Yes, the rumors have been found to be true: The X-Files is returning to television!

At least for six episodes.

The return of X-Files, with both Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny signed on to resume their Special Agent roles, is coming as a six issue miniseries.  It is difficult to say whether this will continue past this or simply be a mega-event that will briefly elevate the FOX network, but nonetheless this is the biggest revival since Twin Peaks was announced for Showtime.  Now, we have the first shots of the show, and can finally begin grinding our teeth in anticipation.
