As the new 20th Century Fox X-Men: Age of Apocalypse movie coming out shortly, which may be the last of the Brian Singer X-Men films, we thought we would go ahead and compile the reading order for this amazing X-Event.  This is one of the best contemporary stories for the X-Men, and really stands out for the period in which it was created.  The reading order itself is highly disputed.  We chose to begin with the great work that Comic Book Herald has done, who has been working on a mammoth complete Marvel reading order.  We diverge on one place, however, with their perspective.  When broken down into trades, they say that the first volume is not required reading and can likely be read after the event.  We understand this reasoning, but to keep things orderly we decided to include it anyway.
