Marvel Announces Plot for Civil War 2

This may be a bigger year for Civil War than when the massive Marvel event first ran.  Captain America: Civil War will be coming out some spring and the new Marvel class of heroes, Civil War 2, is going to be dividing the line between them once again.  We already know the general premise of the Civil War idea, which is basically that the Marvel heroes are split over some irreconcilable difference such as the Superhuman Registration Act.  In the original Civil War, Iron Man led the pro-registration groups to weed out the renegades led by Captain America.  Until now, we have been in the dark as to exactly how Civil War 2 would play out.

Marvel has finally released a teaser plot outline for Civil War 2, giving us just enough to begin hanging on for the panel blockbuster.

A mysterious new Marvel character comes to the attention of the world, one who has the power to calculate the outcome of future events with a high degree of accuracy. This predictive power divides the Marvel heroes on how best to capitalise on this aggregated information, with Captain Marvel leading the charge to profile future crimes and attacks before they occur, and Iron Man adopting the position that the punishment cannot come before the crime.

There are already spoilers that have come forward, which we will print in a different article so as to save the purists from leaks, and they do include who the new character is, what type of character they are, and exactly how our main characters respond to them.  What we have yet to find out is whether this is going to be a sincerely written story or if it is just a chance to money grab after the film is released.
