There was a lot of skepticism for the recently announced Rebirth event from DC, a relaunch that will re-establish the DC superhero universe. This comes from it only being about five years since the 2011 New 52 hard relaunch, and less than a year since the “soft reboot” of the post-Convergence new series. DC consistently comes in behind Marvel, and it has failed to do anything to close the gap(or even come close) in the last several years, which is why DC had to do something significant to carve out a future.
Geoff Johns is drawing on that need to lead DC comics back into its position as an industry leader, but it required series creative teams. In the new world of superstar comics creators, it is these names that can spell success for a series. The skepticism began to be obliterated as we saw more and more who were going to take the reigns of some of our favorite characters.
Below we sharing the list of the creative teams that we know so far from their Wonder Con announcement as put together by Newsrama, and we will continue to update this list as new teams are announced until we have a full picture of the new DC universe.
